Do you need to exchange your money before visiting?

Officially the new Turkish Lira is the currency of TRNC - it is also known as the YTL (Yeni Turk Lirasi), this came in to effect in January 2005.

Most foreign currencies, however, are accepted including Euros and Sterling.
